Dr. John T. Gale brings over 27 years of expertise in neuroscience, neurosurgery, and neurology, specializing in human basal ganglia electrophysiology. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Science (Neuroscience) from the Kent State University/Cleveland Clinic Doctoral Program, followed by postdoctoral training at Georgetown University and Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Gale has held esteemed faculty positions at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, the Cleveland Clinic, and Emory University. He has authored over 90 peer-reviewed articles, many of which have been published in prestigious journals, and has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences. In 2024, Dr. Gale was nominated to the position of Chief Science Officer at DIXI medical. Before this role, he served as Vice President of R&D at DIXI NeuroLab, where he played a pivotal role in advancing innovative technologies for epilepsy patient care.

Krisahn Gren is a proven leader who has built successful sales teams within large, medium and start up organizations. With over two decades in the medical device space, her focus is market development, scaling novel technologies, sales leadership and building high performance sales teams. Thriving in fast paced, evolving environments, she is driven towards commercial excellence. As a former Director at LivaNova, she drove double digit growth and built strong relationships within the epilepsy community.

Florence Brugger has been a workshop and production team manager for over 18 years. As a production engineer with a degree from ITII Bourgogne, she worked in 3 industrial production companies (micro-cutting, automotive), with responsibility for assembly, packaging and dispatch workshops, before joining DIXI medical in 2017. Over the course of her career, she has developed her skills using Lean manufacturing, stock and production management and team management tools, which have enabled her to lead projects to optimize production processes and flows in order to boost performance.

With over 25 years of experience in engineering management and design for complex multidisciplinary systems, Mr. Kurtz has a strong focus on medical devices. He has successfully guided numerous products through the entire product lifecycle, including clinical studies, regulatory approvals, and market launch. Notably, he held key positions at MyndTec and Profound Medical, contributing to the development of innovative devices for stroke and spinal cord injury treatment and MRI-guided ultrasound ablation for prostate cancer. Mr. Kurtz is a graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor and Master of Engineering degrees.

Anne-Sophie Koehn brings extensive experience in the SEEG field, having built a strong network with specialists and companies in epilepsy over the past 4 years. She started at DIXI medical, gaining insights into the needs of SEEG practitioners through clinical support missions. In 2020, she established an education and outreach team, contributing to the company's success in the SEEG market. With a deep understanding of products and technologies, Anne-Sophie effectively oversees product management activities. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen and has a background as a professional skier with Swiss-Ski.

Bastien Jacquier brings over 15 years of finance experience, with a focus on the industrial sector. He honed his skills during his time at KPMG audit before transitioning to the automotive industry, where he served as CFO for Streit, a Franco-Taiwanese group specializing in mechanical component machining. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in finance, international taxation, cash management, controlling, and implementing IT systems on a global scale. Bastien holds a master's degree in auditing and accounting and is a certified chartered accountant.

Laurent Soulier brings over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry, with expertise in quality and regulatory affairs. He held senior positions at renowned companies such as BIOMET and Johnson & Johnson, overseeing quality and regulatory operations. His extensive knowledge extends to successful involvement in the development and commercialization of transapical and transfemoral aortic valve systems (TAVI), leading to his role as Quality Director at Boston Scientific following the acquisition of Symetis SA.

Nicolas Roche has 20+ years of experience in international business development. He has lived and worked in Asia-Pacific for 10 years in various sales and marketing positions. He then dedicated his energy to grow businesses in the medical device industry at a global level. In his last position as Sales and Marketing Director at Sophysa (Neurosurgery and ICU devices), he helped the company tripling its revenue by leveraging his knowledge of the Asian market and engaging customers’ loyalty. Nicolas is a graduate of EM Lyon Business School and has also completed the Executive Program for Growing Companies at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Mark Lemko is a visionary leader with a proven track record of building successful businesses from scratch. With extensive experience in sales and marketing, he has achieved global market penetration and maximized profits. Mark's strategic approach and focus on developing strong relationships and product knowledge have been key to his success. With over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, Raoul Barthez has held various roles, including Director of Operations for France at Zimmer Biomet. In 2021, he joined Dixi medical after a successful career at Alstom Transport. Holding a Master's degree from the Lyon School of Management and a law degree, Raoul also serves as the chairman of the supervisory board for a medical device engineering school (ISIFC) and is involved in regional microtechnology initiatives.

Steven Plymale is a seasoned executive in the medical device industry, with extensive experience leading companies through startup, growth, and commercialization phases. As former CEO of Profound Medical Inc., he successfully guided the development and launch of an innovative prostate cancer treatment technology, while securing significant funding and achieving a public listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Frédéric Koehn brings over 30 years of entrepreneurial expertise, primarily in the healthcare sector, with successful exits including Compex SA and Neocutis SA. He has also demonstrated strong leadership in corporate turnarounds across diverse industries such as battery technology and mechanical engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree from HEC Lausanne and completed executive education at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In parallel, he served as a lecturer in entrepreneurship at HEC Lausanne.

Jean-Pierre Darnis has dedicated most of his career to the microtechnology and medical device industries. He began his journey in 1979 in Besançon at Sormel, where he rose through the ranks to become site director. When Sormel was acquired by DIXI in 2005, he naturally continued his path within DIXI medical. Under his leadership, the company experienced significant growth and became a key player in the development of intracerebral electrodes used in stereo-electroencephalography (SEEG). Now retired, Jean-Pierre Darnis continues to share his expertise and support innovation at DIXI medical.
