Inspired by established practices in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and neurostimulation, MICRODEEP® PIXEL is designed to explore the thalamus and the insula with unmatched precision, offering flexible implantation through either a straight or oblique trajectory using the D08-18PIX. The D08-15PIX electrode features 15 uniformly spaced 1 mm contacts, enabling highly localized recording and stimulation in complex neuroanatomical regions.

A second configuration — the D08-18PIX — provides an 18-contact electrode with 8 contacts of 1 mm and 10 of 2 mm, allowing for targeted exploration and optimal signal capture. Unlike other electrodes, MICRODEEP® PIXEL’s distal contacts are not only fully functional but also maintain the same 1 mm dimension as all other contacts, providing clinicians with unparalleled control during recording and stimulation.
