The MICRODEEP PIXEL® electrodes are designed to enhance insular and thalamic explorations by offering advanced high-density sampling configurations. The D08-15PIX features 15 uniformly spaced 1 mm contacts, enabling highly localized recording and stimulation within complex neuroanatomical structures. An alternative configuration, the D08-18PIX, incorporates 18 contacts, including eight 1 mm contacts and ten 2 mm contacts, providing both targeted exploration and optimized signal acquisition.

The MICRODEEP PIXEL® also incorporates fully functional 1 mm distal contacts that maintain the same dimensions as the other 1 mm contacts along the electrode. This design provides clinicians with exceptional precision and control during recording and stimulation procedures and, in selected anatomical regions, may support thermocoagulation applications.
